Philosophers’ Night (Györ, Hungary)

World Philosophy Day

HU_Night of Philosophers_1

New Acropolis participated in the traditional Philosophers’ Night, presenting philosophy as a way of life through different interactive activities. The night began with perspectives on life, death and love by two great masters of 20th century Hungarian literature, Frigyes Karinthy and Dezső Kosztolányi.

Another activity staged a humorous presentation contrasting a person with a heroic attitude and a boaster, followed by a debate whereby participants discussed active and passive attitudes to life.
