En marzo del a\u00f1o 1965 comenz\u00f3 sus actividades y hasta la fecha ha estado presente en las principales ciudades del pa\u00eds, reuniendo voluntarios que han sabido sostener y proyectar en el tiempo esta iniciativa que concilia y promueve la cultura, la filosof\u00eda y el voluntariado. En la actualidad son 16 ciudades, desde Arica a Puerto Montt las que ofrecen un espacio para la filosof\u00eda como fundamento de una actividad comunitaria activa.<br \/>\nAl cumplir 50 a\u00f1os, la instituci\u00f3n valora su participaci\u00f3n como organismo consultivo de la OEA, Organizaci\u00f3n de Estados Americanos en el \u00e1mbito de la cultura y la educaci\u00f3n; su protagonismo <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-14286\" src=\"https:\/\/news.acropolis.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/IMG_1048-300x200.jpg\" alt=\"50 ANIVERSARIO EN SEDE CENTRAL\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" srcset=\"https:\/\/news.acropolis.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/IMG_1048-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/news.acropolis.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/IMG_1048.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/news.acropolis.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/IMG_1048-600x400.jpg 600w, https:\/\/news.acropolis.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/IMG_1048-900x600.jpg 900w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/>en la Red de Ayuda Humanitaria Chilena, RAHCh; la acreditaci\u00f3n ante la ONU de algunos de sus voluntarios para el uso y propagaci\u00f3n del Manual ESFERA, protocolo e indicaciones para la Ayuda Humanitaria.
