Belo Horizonte City Council honours Martial Arts (Belo Horizonte, MG, Brazil)
Japanese sword martial artists from the Bodhidharma Institute were invited to take part in the celebrations of the Municipal Martial Arts Day at the Francisco Bicalho Palace (Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais). The Bodhidharma Institute participated as a guest of honour because of its service to the community. It gave a presentation of IAIDO, consisting of a small display of the Shinto Ryu Budo style through ceremonial dances with sword and fan (Kembu), and was one of the most outstanding performances of the event.
