Second edition of the Festival of Dance in the city of Leon, Guanajuato, in the framework of the commemoration of World Philosophy Day, with wide participation of young people of different ages who delighted the audience performing Polynesian and Hindu dances, as well as tango and flamenco.

This activity featured art as a mode of expression of philosophy, as embodiment of beauty and as appreciation of different cultures.

New Acropolis Oaxaca presented a theoretical-practical workshop titled ‘The essence of being a woman’.

This intensive seminar was conducted in an open and reflective atmosphere, and had as central axes the profound meaning of life, integrity, being responsible for our lives and feelings, and how these themes relate to feminine energy.  A take-home idea of the activity: it is up to every woman to make a conscious choice regarding the commitment to experience Love.

New Acropolis Mexico commemorated World Philosophy Day with the First Festival of Folkloric Dance in charge of young New Acropolis volunteers between the ages of 14 and 19 years.
Some of the dances that were presented in the show were: the “Danza de los viejitos” and the “El Trenecito” dance, both from the State of Michoacán; “Pavido navido”, native of the State of Nuevo León; “No terajes Tijuana”, from the State of Baja California Norte; and “El sinaloense” and “el Coyote” from the State of Sinaloa.
