New Acropolis invited the public of the city of Santa Cruz to a cycle of lectures and to an exhibit, both dedicated to philosophy to commemorate World Philosophy Day.

Lecture titles included: Philosophy and the hidden motors of the Renaissance; Philosophical teachings of Buddhism; The Stoics and the Art of Living and To be a philosopher, is it possible today?.

In addition to the exhibition entitled Philosophy as a motor of human development, there were several outdoor philosophical debates around the proposed topics, and a presentation of martial arts.
