New Acropolis Oradea organized an event on the Italian Renaissance and the public enjoyed a documentary exhibition presenting the Science, Philosophy, History, Art and Architecture of that period. Two lectures were also presented, on the Platonic Academy in Florence and the philosopher Giordano Bruno, followed by two documentary movies. Visitors had the opportunity to attend a painting workshop on archaeological reproductions. Renaissance music composed by William Byrd and Tielman Susato echoed inside the walls of the citadel, interpreted by the group Presto Bass.
