New Acropolis Bratislava gave a lecture entitled “The Magic of the Word”, a reflection on the strength of our words and their use. The director of New Acropolis in Slovakia, Kamila Hermannová, spoke about the meaning of speech and communication in the ancient and modern world. The talk was accompanied by the reading of texts by authors who have addressed this subject, as well as phrases and proverbs from different cultures about words and their effect.
