Humanitarian aid to the villages of Gorenka and Moschun, Buchansky district, Kyiv region (Ukraine)
During the last couple of months, New Acropolis in Kyiv has been organising the collection and delivery of humanitarian aid to the villages of Gorenka and Moschun, Buchansky district, Kyiv region.
These villages suffered significantly from the destruction as a result of war. According to the map of the UN Satellite Center, almost 80% of the territory of Gorenka has been damaged. Nevertheless, local residents are returning to their homes to rebuild them.
We collected and transferred to local residents 155 pillows, 60 blankets, 335 sets of bedding, 275 towels, 890 dishes, 1320 sets of clothing, 97 pairs of shoes, 436 sets of underwear, 850 hygiene products, 25 boxes of food, 6 sets of thermal boxes and coolers.
New Acropolis is grateful to the Ukrainian House in Lithuania, which handed over boxes of food. As well as to the residents of the “Nyvky Park” residential complex who actively participated in the collection of necessary items.
We continue to collect and deliver humanitarian aid. Now we are also collecting textbooks for the lyceum in Gorenka so that children can start their school year in autumn.
