New Acropolis Pune branch, marked World Philosophy Day celebrations on the advent of Diwali, through a theatrical presentation titled ‘Victory of Light over Darkness’ at ‘The Base’, a theatre in Erandwane, Pune.

The theatrical presentation was followed by an address by Shraddha Shetty – Branch Manager of New Acropolis Pune, where she touched upon ideas of Philosophy, Theatre, and Diwali. Participants took part in a few simple philosophical exercises like writing a small poem on their inspiration, reading it out later, and choosing different emotions while reciting them. With over 150 people in attendance, it was an evening that explored the underlining theme of ‘Philosophy in Action’ hosted by the young members of New Acropolis Pune.
