On the occasion of Father’s Day, we made a wonderful visit to accompany the elderly in the centres: ‘Angelus’, ‘Reflejos de Amor’, and ‘Abuelitos Felices’ (Lima) and Asilo de Ancianos ‘San José’ (Trujillo), the volunteers brought joy and entertainment to the residents of these homes. We created a festive atmosphere full of love and fun, achieving a special connection with each of the grandparents, the celebrations were filled with activities that fostered joy and well-being.
We started with Chi Kung and laughter therapy exercises, followed by fun riddles that made everyone laugh, and the grandparents enjoyed dances that reminded them of their youth, all while sharing delicious snacks and refreshments prepared with love.
To top it all off, the winners of the games received gifts made by the volunteers themselves, a gesture that added a personal and special touch to the celebration.
