Hualcaloma Archaeological Site Cleanup (Cajamarca, Peru)
At New Acropolis Cajamarca we firmly believe that ‘one loves what one knows and cares for what one values’, and this weekend a team of volunteers joined in a day of commitment and love for culture and ecology for the great ‘Cleaning of the Huacaloma Archaeological Site’ in Cajamarca.
The activity started with an inspiring talk entitled ‘The Importance of the Huacaloma Archaeological Site’, given by Archaeologist Wilder León from the Dirección Desconcentrada de Cultura (DDC) of this city.
This action was followed by the archaeologists Tania Ávalos and Maycoll Quispe from the DDC. In this opportunity we benefited 120 people from the surroundings of the archaeological site.
Thanks to each volunteer and to all those who support us in these days that sow awareness and love for what is ours.
