Celebrating the Day of Arts (Cordoba, Argentina)
At the Museum of Anthropology of the National University of Cordoba, New Acropolis together with the International Network of SDG promoters held a day dedicated to Art. On this occasion, to Rock Art.
The talk explained the value of this ancient artistic expression, its symbolism and the search for union with the Cosmos of those ancient peoples.
The attendees were able to learn about different archaeological sites with cave paintings around the world through illustrations.
They were also informed about the UN Sustainable Development Goals and what Culture and Art can contribute to them.
Finally, the audience had the opportunity to play around and make their own rock art, reflecting on what they could leave engraved in stone as a legacy about our current culture and identity for the generations to come.
The public was very interested in the theme developed, having been able to approach through this activity to this artistic expression so characteristic of ancient peoples.
