The International Association New Acropolis in Chile organized in the city of Iquique the 5th Annual Meeting of Indigenous People. Year after year NA promotes this approach, sponsored by the Regional Government of Tarapacá. It was attended by community representatives of Aymara, Mapuche and Atacameños Coya, and this year the theme developed was about religion and mythology in these communities.
Representatives from each community presented different aspects and approaches to sacred mentality of the Andean people. Amelia Ramirez, Ph.D. in astronomy, gave a lecture entitled: “Myths and Constellations of Ancient America.”
