In the context of Earth Day, New Acropolis in Syracuse organized a series of activities to sensitize the public to a necessary respect towards nature and to our planet.

Activities included a round table entitled “Gaia: a living planet!”; a guided visit of the Temple of Apollo in Syracuse; an exhibition; a concert and an open debate on the screening of a documentary about the beauty of nature and its current deterioration.

The program concluded with a philosophical talk entitled “Philosophy in motion” on the proposal of New Acropolis to improve the
environment.
