The Municipality of São José dos Campos recently signed in the district of São Francisco Xavier a collaboration agreement with New Acropolis for providing transportation to primary school children attending the elementary school Escuela Primaria Municipal de Tiempo Completo (EFETI) Profesora Mercedes Rachid Edwards, and that they participate in the social project Sports & Education, carried out by New Acropolis and sponsored by Petrobras.

The Sports & Education Project offers in its sports complex activities of various modalities: athletics, swimming, indoor sports, dance and martial arts taught by qualified professionals, as complementary activities to the training of full-time students who are involved in the curriculum axis Movement, Sports and Recreation, at the EFETI Profesora Mercedes Rachid.
