New Acropolis volunteers, and their friends and family, participated in a recreational and cultural trip to the cocoa trail to learn about the origins of chocolate and participate in the fascinating process of transformation of cocoa. The day culminated with a visit to the House Museum of the Mirabal sisters – reknown national heroines.
