In the context of volunteering, New Acropolis Tirana organized this furniture-building activity based on the practical approach that philosophy applies to learning in all aspects. In the same way we learn and construct new things outside of ourselves, we can discover, learn and construct new values within ourselves. Volunteering is an area through which an individual can cultivate values such as unity, solidarity, teamwork. By valuing every process and activity in our lives, we learn that philosophy is not only theoretical, but a practical way of taking lessons from everything that surrounds us.
