Beauty and human values in the guided visit to the Modernist Enclosure Of Sant Pau (Barcelona, Spain)
Students of New Acropolis Barcelona visited the Modernist Enclosure of Sant Pau, the ancient hospital that is now a museum.
The visit was enriched by the presentations of the students and volunteers which focused on the architecture of the complex and its symbolism, on the functionality of the buildings and on the human values that justified the project.
The humanistic character of the work is related to the recovery of human dignity represented by its architecture and intended for the -not only physical – welfare of patients, according Begoña Casas, the organizer of the visit.
