In celebration of World Philosophy Day, New Acropolis Boston presented a series of events on the importance of Plato for our current times. On a sunny afternoon, volunteers organized the ‘Plato on the Square’ event, featuring the Platonic Cube which engaged passers-by to add their words of wisdom, peace, and inspiration. ‘Professor Plato’ and the Oracle invited passers-by to celebrate World Philosophy Day, and many stopped at the information booth to find out about the Philosophy Project and read the exhibit panels featuring the thoughts of Plato on diverse topics such as love, education, ethics and politics. Many also participated by leaving an imprint of color on our community Mandala.
