New Acropolis Alicante had the opportunity to celebrate the uninterrupted reading of the first novel in Spanish, Don Quixote, which annually commemorates Book Day. This tradition celebrated its twelfth anniversary receiving excellent reception on the part of the public given participants’ extensive and enthusiastic participation in the readings. Some of the witty and wise reflections bequeathed by the great Cervantes have been transcribed with fountain pen by the activity’s participants.
