To commemorate World Earth Day, an ecological forum was organized in the city of Košice at which New Acropolis was invited to present its activities and give a lecture on the symbolism of the tree. The director of the New Acropolis center in this city, Mária Mihálová, highlighted the importance of protecting nature and the deep and philosophical meaning of ecology.

In addition, New Acropolis in cooperation with several municipalities organized a park clean-up with the participation of a group of motivated volunteers.
