Experience in nature on the recognition of medicinal plants (Eger, Hungary)
During a three-hour journey – which began with the reading of Plato’s thoughts on medicine, and a tasting of herbal teas – participants toured the slopes of Eger accompanied by the explanations and teachings of a herbalist, István Rigó, volunteer of New Acropolis Eger. They became familiar with about twenty medicinal plants, and in addition to learning about their properties they learned about the correct combinations of infusions for different health-related uses.
