Food distribution for the elderly and Holocaust survivors in a low-income area (Tel Aviv, Israel)
Following the initiative of New Acropolis Tel Aviv, nearly a hundred volunteers visited a low-income neighborhood in the south of the city to distribute food packages to the elderly and Holocaust survivors living in the area.
The purpose of this activity was not simply to deliver food, but to create a human bridge. One of the main and most important conclusions was that giving one’s own resources, can generate a beneficial environment for all.
