38th Edition of the Delia Steinberg International Piano Competition (Spain)

South Korean pianist Eun-A Kim won the latest edition of the Delia Steinberg International Piano Competition.

After four days of competition, the participants selected for the finals were:

– Eun-A Kim (South Korea)

– Jin-Eun Park (South Korea)

– Nail Mavliudov (Russia)

– Shotaro Nishimura (Japan)

The jury consisting of:

RAFAEL SOLÍS: President of the Jury, pianist and former professor at the Arturo Soria Conservatory of Music in Madrid.

DELIA STEINBERG GUZMÁN: Founder of the Competition and pianist

MARÍA LUISA VILLALVA: Pianist and former professor at the Arturo Soria Conservatory of Music in Madrid.

MICHAEL DAVIDOV: Pianist and professor at the Superior Conservatory of the Barcelona Lyceum. Winner of international awards. Founder of the Arthur Rubinstein Institute and of the Marbella International Music Competition.

WALTER GUTDEUTSCH: Pianist and professor in Graz, Austria.

ANA MARÍA FLORI: Professor of piano and Director of the Keys Department of the Superior Conservatory of Alicante. Director of the Master’s Program in Artistic Teaching of Music Interpretation and Research 2012/16

decided the following:

Third Prize: Granted 1.000€ and diploma

 Nail Mavliudov (Russia)

Second Prize: Ex aequo, each person granted 1.000€ and diploma

Ji-Eun Park (South Korea)

Shotaro Nishimura (Japan)

First Prize: granted 5.000€ and diploma

Eun-A Kim (South Korea)
