On June, in Athens, the 16th Volunteering Festival was held, with main organizer the “New Acropolis”.

With the message “A Vote from the Heart for Volunteerism!”, hundreds of volunteers and visitors of all ages celebrated volunteerism, solidarity and generosity.

At the 16th Volunteer Festival held in Syntagma Square, visitors got to know, through the open exhibition, the work of volunteer organizations and spoke with their members about volunteerism in practice. Also, they participated in the open actions of the Festival and filled up with volunteering energy the center of Athens!

The 16th Volunteering Day was held under the auspices of the Municipality of Athens.
