Having in mind that one of the Cutlure’s aspects is the respect and love supported by actions of the environment and Nature, members of New Acropolis Cyprus visited the Avakas Gorge in Pafos.

This trip’s main goal was to meet another small piece of the Cypriot Nature, as “unless you get to know something you cannot love it”.

The Avakas Gorge’s height varies from 45 meters at its start to 150 meters in some inner sections. It has flowing water all year long, as river Avgas passes right through it, which is the main contributor for the creation and conservation of its lush vegetation. The fairy tale scenery is simple breathtaking.
