Jose Carlos Fernandez Romero, writer and director of New Acropolis Portugal, gave a first lecture in Las Azores, specifically at the Municipal Auditorium Natalia Correia de Punta Delgada (Island of San Miguel).

In this first contact with the islands, Prof. Fernandez spoke about philosophy as a path of transformation which leads us to awaken our own soul from the many distractions that the world today offers.

Philosophy, the speaker said, is the music that is made with the soul; an idea we can easily understand in such a beautiful – one could even say mystical – context as the island of San Miguel.
