In this seminar organized by New Acropolis Oeiras-Cascais and the Marqués de Pombal Foundation, with the collaboration of the City Council of Oeiras-, Professor Harry Costin discussed many examples of the search for the spiritual dimension in modern art, from Romanticism to Surrealism.
Harry Costin is a professor at Boston University and also taught at the American University in Paris. He is currently professor of the international organization New Acropolis in the areas of Philosophy of Science and Comparative Religions.
He has become one of the researchers at the international level who has approached in more depth thematic areas such as symbolic philosophy in the Renaissance and in German Romanticism, now investigating the topic of the search for the spiritual dimension in modern art, which some put into doubt.
