We launched the commemorative celebrations for the 100th anniversary of the birth of singer-songwriter Isabel Granda Larco with the presentation “Chabuca Granda: Music and Poetry”, which included a repertoire of her songs and discussion about her lyrics.

For a whole year activities will take place across the country in tribute to her work and legacy to Peruvian music.

With the sponsorship of the Ministry of Culture, New Acropolis has joined this initiative through research activities, various talks and a contest to interpret her songs for school-age children.
