Concentration and inner awakening (Chişinău, Republic of Moldovia)
New Acropolis organized the first session of the Virtual Philosophical reading circle for public based on the book: ’’Concentration and inner awakening’’, by Fernand Schwarz. We made an incursion into oriental philosophy by analyzing the itinerary of consciousness according to the oral tradition of Tibetan Buddhism. We discussed the need to relate to oneself experience in order to appreciate through practice the relevance of teachings and the difficulties encountered in mastering the mind. Participants were receptive to the subject and spoke about the importance of discipline and self-control in the concentration process. We reflected on the advantage of exercising concentration in our daily life as it helps us to overcome the obstacles without restraint or struggle and to create a more harmonious existence.
