In an online talk given by Florimond Krins, the speaker addressed the topic of energy and the environmental consequences of exploiting finite resources in an unsustainable way. Over the past 200 years, since the beginning of the industrial age, humanity has been relying on the progress of science and new technologies in order to provide us with better health, wealth and comfort.

During the evening, it became clearer how we are arriving at a critical time when we need to reflect and take action collectively and individually by taking responsibility for the impact we produce with the choices we make. After his presentation, there was an allocated time for questions and answers, where most attendees were able to share their concern and discuss possible solutions.
