Since time immemorial death has represented one of the great mysteries for man. This topic, sometimes approached with superstition, other times with indifference and in fewer occasions with wisdom, arouses fear, curiosity and even rejection. We approached it with a spirit of investigation and philosophical reflection: New Acropolis Merida, gave a talk on death, based on the teachings and practices discussed in the Bardo Thodol, known in the West as the “Tibetan Book of the Dead”. These teachings encourage us to practice serenity in life and in death.
