Tribute to Giordano Bruno (Colombia)
New Acropolis Colombia has produced a mural in the municipality of Circasia, Department of Quindío, in commemoration of its international anniversary. The mural, painted by Maestro Henry Aguirre and named “Tribute to Giordano Bruno”, measuring 14.20 meters long by 2.55 meters high, brings together elements of paintings by Boticelli and sculptures by Ernst Herler and Miguel Urrutia.
In the words of Maestro Henry Aguirre during the inauguration: “It is a tribute to the free thinker Giordano Bruno who was a ‘pollinator’ of Wisdom through the winds of history, living memory of humanity, courageous advocate of truth and conscience”.
