Volunteers from New Acropolis along with other social and ecological volunteer institutions carried out a reforestation campaign in the Julio Leigue neighbourhood of District 6 of the city of Santa Cruz.

An ecological day where native trees were planted as part of the “Creating Life” Project, and the great lack of them in the streets of the city was verified.

In addition, urban gardens were planted in the homes of the neighbours, as a proposal to improve food quality and an educational way to grow their own food and achieve economic savings for the families.
