Talk on “The Judgement of the Soul”, as part of the series entitled “Philosophy for everyday life”, by speaker Alejandra Alfaro.

Throughout its long history, the Egyptian civilisation managed to capture its belief about life and death in the Papyrus of Ani, also known as the Papyrus of the Judgement of the Soul. In it, the path of the soul leaving the body after its physical death and the characteristics of this process are recounted. The Egyptians understood that being alive is an opportunity to transmute, improve oneself and become worthy of living with the Gods.

The teachings that this mysterious civilisation has left us, invites us to reflect on our life in this passage through the earth and encourages us to improve ourselves day by day.
