Night of Philosophy in Lausanne, a partnership beyond the crisis!

We are pleased that the Night of Philosophy, supported by UNESCO Switzerland, was able, despite the crisis, to propose to the public a dozen activities for a public of children, adolescents and adults, on the theme of change.

Associations, students, professors of academic philosophy and/or practical philosophy and companies, have decided to share their love of philosophy in a way that is accessible to as many people as possible. To ensure the smooth running of the event, the organizers all had the courage to innovate to share their events online.

The public enthusiastically participated in the activities proposed by speakers as varied as the expressions of philosophy can be! Philosophy workshops for children, Socratic dialogue workshops for teenagers, adults, workshop on ecological transition, on business initiatives beneficial to society, several conferences on current issues such as the health crisis and the surrounding uncertainty. The closing evening of this second edition 2020 was the delight of Internet users with the philosophical concert of the multi-instrumentalist musician Alexandre Cellier.
