This volunteering activity took place in the city of Medellín, in the Ciudadela Roblemar neighborhood in commemoration of International Mother Earth Day.

We promoted people’s participation in a community planting activity, with the collaboration of the SOMOS SIEMBRA Group.

Approximately fifty volunteers participated in the activity and 40 trees were planted in the green areas of the sector and 20 more trees were donated for future reforestation in the community.

We raised awareness about the proper separation of solid waste at the source.

We learned how to plant correctly!

New Acropolis volunteers will continue to take care of the planted trees.
