As part of the “TO THE EARTH” activities held in celebration of International Earth Day, New Acropolis carried out a garbage collection, to raise awareness of the care of our planet. It was a journey of approximately 2.5km, from the exit of Cobán to the entrance of Carchá. Seventy-five bags of garbage were collected containing different types of waste such as glass, plastic, masks, diapers, shoes, clothes and scrap metal.

18 New Acropolis volunteers participated in this event, with the support of the municipality of San Pedro Carchá, who organized the collection points for the garbage collected, and transported it in a truck.
The Municipal Transit Police were also of great help.
