Mária Mihálová, a long-time member and head of the branch of New Acropolis in Košice, became the volunteer of the year 2021 of the Košice region in Slovakia in the category “Long-term voluntary help to the organization”. She received the “Heart in hand 2021” award for “extraordinary commitment in carrying out volunteer activities that significantly contributed to changing the lives of individuals or groups”.
