As part of the initiative of the International Organisation New Acropolis to actively participate in the celebration of International Earth Day, we raised awareness about sustainability in a stool at the South Melbourne Market. We taught the Market visitors how to upcycle old T-shirts into lovely shopping bags and transform used toilet paper rolls into seedling pots throughout the day. The volunteers shared tips for simple, straightforward paths to live a sustainable, eco-friendly way of life.

It was exciting meeting so many like-hearted people interested in this pressing issue, asking questions and appreciating the idea of creating a change through a joint daily effort.
