Seminar on Celtic Mythology. Professor Gonzalo Garcia spoke about the people of the Indo-European region known as the Celts.

The Greek historian Herodotus baptized these people as Keltoi or Celts around the 5th century BC.

The Keltoi were tribes with well-defined socioeconomic, political and military organizations and with a very distinct priestly hierarchy, religious traditions, language and physical appearance.

 

Among the vast knowledge of the Celtic peoples we find their enigmatic and abstract symbols, their intriguing mysticism, their customs deeply linked to nature and their mythological elements such as fairies, gnomes, triskeles or the well-known tree of life, among others.
