To celebrate Mother Earth Day, volunteers from New Acropolis London cleaned up a wood in Hackney Wick, London, where rubbish had accumulated over many years. Around 1 ton of rubbish was collected and deposited in 85 bags. The initiative was supported by Hackney Council, who provided us with rubbish bags and came to collect them later on.
