Due to the growing need to provide direct support to refugees, the New Acropolis headquarters in Warsaw hosted a workshop entitled “Psychological First Aid. How to help well.” Using the WHO guidelines on “Psychological first aid: Guide for field workers” and the knowledge of a psychology specialist, the most important principles for responsible and adequate assistance to those in need were conveyed, emphasizing the importance of remembering that even in the face of a great crisis, one should not forget human values.
