“For Problems… Poems!” (Castellón, Spain)
A poetry recital was organized with presentations of poetry, songs, theatrical performances and live music. A spontaneous artistic cocktail that gave free rein to the inspiration that moved everyone present.
“For problems… Poems!” was the motto chosen for this activity, which took place in a relaxed atmosphere enjoyed by both public and participating artists.
The poems, by authors as diverse as Jorge Bucay, Herman Hesse and Atahualpa Yupanqui, were like a rain of poetry that refreshed our hearts and brought emotions flowing to the surface.
A verse from the poem Invictus by William Ernest Henley was chosen to close the evening:
“It matters not how strait the gate,
How charged with punishments the scroll,
I am the master of my fate,
I am the captain of my soul.”
