Humanitarian Campaign Sunday!

In the month of August, the Humanitarian Aid Campaign was carried out in the “Ficus del Pedregal” Community of Villa Maria del Triunfo by 35 of our volunteers, who attended to 372 people, including adults and children, handing out donations of clothes and toys.

At the same time, this campaign was used as an opportunity to bring our reading promotion project “Yo Amo la Lectura” (I Love Reading) to 35 children from the community.

Two stories were used: “La Mena y Anisilla”, a story about friendship, and “La gran fábrica de las palabras”, a story about the importance of words and how they are used.

A talk entitled “Improving Lives”, given by the Caja Municipal de Ahorro y Crédito (CMAC) of Trujillo, about sanitation and the appropriate use and disposal of water, was given to everyone attending.

We ended this volunteering action with a big dance, with children and adults dancing together.
