An evening of music and poetry was held in celebration of World Poetry Day.
Under the title: “A Meeting with the Soul”, poems by a variety of authors were recited to reaffirm poetry as a way of expressing what is unintelligible in the human condition. It enables us to give and receive some of the beauty hidden in life; we need only to attune our values, our inner senses, those which elevate the soul.
The evening had as its special guest the Bolivian singer-songwriter Mariela Ardaya, who shared her own music and poetry with those present.
