In commemoration of Psychologist’s Day, the psychology service of the General Hospital of Fortaleza (HGF) promoted Psychology Week with the theme “Psychology and its movements: Reframing inner life”.

The event, organized together with the Health Department of the State of Ceará, had a partnership with volunteers from the International Organization New Acropolis of Fortaleza, from the Meireles headquarters, in the opening lecture.

The institution’s volunteer teacher, Liliane Pereira, spoke about “The importance of Philosophy for the human being”, highlighting the values of Timeless Ethics as concepts that endure over time, present in all eras of history and still valid, because they are based on in the search for the essence of things.

“This partnership between the HGF Psychology service was a great satisfaction due to the possibility of sharing experiences and learning on both sides”, thanked the New Acropolis for the invitation.

HGF’s organizational and work psychologist, Iara Carina, highlighted the lecture’s depth in human thought.
“The way in which the theme of the lecture was explored and the philosophical concepts presented, related to contemporary issues and life issues, in general, made a difference. We had the opportunity not only to reflect on issues of inner life, but also to see new perspectives on our own way of thinking and seeing life,” she said.
