Arts Day (Eger, Hungary)
The Eger Centre of New Acropolis Hungary hosted a storytelling session spiced with flute playing, based on Ibsen’s Peer Gynt. Between each episode of the story, live music gave the audience an opportunity to reflect on what they had just heard.
The music was provided by three young flute teachers, who transcribed parts of Grieg’s piece for flute for this occasion. In addition to the ticket for the event, participants could also buy an extra sponsorship ticket to support the purchase of musical instruments for three local music schools.
