For this years International Mother Earth Day we hosted two Events:

“Should we take care of the Earth?” Round Table discussion and Ecological Clean up of the nearby canal. (Dublin)

“Hidden Wisdom of Trees” – Talk and “How to make our own cleaning material.” – Workshop (Cork)

Thanks to all who joined and engaged in the lively and surprising discussion! And thanks to the speakers for their introduction to a topic that applies to us all, as the earth has been humanities’ home for hundred thousands of years. They shared with us reflections from science, mythology and ancient philosophy – and asked us some evocative questions.
On Sunday a group of volunteers went out to clean up on the nearby canal, working together and sharing their reflections and experiences about taking even the smallest actions everyday to improve ourselves and impact our surroundings. And in Cork an enthusiastic group met to learn and produce together how to make our own cleaning materials based on simple and natural ingredients.
