Changing postponing into proactiveness – Navigating our era’s difficult waters (Practical philosophy series) – Philosophical workshop (Taipei, Taiwan)

Promotion of Philosophy

On our 2nd workshop “Navigating our era’s difficult waters” we discussed our tendency of postponing things in life. We searched for the deeper root of why we postpone and what can we proactively do about it. We received some inspiration from the Stoic philosopher Marcus Aurelius who wrote: “It is not death that a man should fear, but he should fear never beginning to live.” “Do not act as if you were going to live ten thousand years. Death hangs over you. While you live, while it is in your power, be good.”
